Thomas was born to Virgil Monasco and Isma Yarbrough, February 18, 1940, in Memphis, Tennessee. He married Betty Carolyn Grigsby on February 28th, 1964 and they lived together in Baytown, Texas. Together they raised two children.
He is survived by: brother Richard Monasco, son Charles Monasco and wife Michelle, son Michael Monasco. He also leaves to cherish his memory nephew Ronnie Monasco, granddaughter Pamela Monasco, grandson Tommy Monasco, great-grandsons Kaden Lathrop and Reece Monasco, great-grandson Jaxon Monasco and great-granddaughter Lillian Monasco.
He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Carolyn Grigsby Monasco, father Virgil Monasco, mother Isma Monasco, brother Louis Monasco.
Thomas worked as a plumber for Youngs Plumbing in Baytown, Texas for 38 years. He was a United States Army Veteran. He loved working in his vegetable garden. He loved history, working with his hands, and being an active member of his church, Peace Tabernacle.
A visitation is scheduled for Friday, September 22, 2023 from 10:00 – 11:00 am at Peace Tabernacle 5901 Garth Road, Baytown, Texas 77521 with a service starting at 11:00 am and a graveside service will follow at 12:30 pm at Earthman Memory Gardens Cemetery 8624 Garth Road, Baytown, Texas 77521.
