Titus Boyd Bryant

Titus Boyd Bryant, 54, of Baytown, passed away February 14, 2021 at a Houston hospital. He was born in Cochran, Georgia on March 25, 1966 to J.R. and Jeynelle Bryant.

In September of 2006, Titus moved to Baytown to be with the love of his life and her daughter. He was employed with Suddenlink Communications for several years before going to work for Decko Delivery. Titus loved fishing, hanging out at the Preserve of Texas, watching his nieces and nephews play sports, and he loved watching college football, especially Georgia Bulldogs.

He is preceded in death by his mom, Jeynelle Bryant; grandparents, Elton and Vera Churchwell, and Doc and Effie Mae Bryant all of Cochran, Georgia.

He is survived by his fiance of 14 years, Denise McCrory, and her daughter, whom he loved as if she were his own, Madalyn McCrory, both of Baytown; father, J.R. Bryant of Cochran, Ga; sisters, Clisa Bryant (Jerry) Johnson and Shelby (Joel) Gordon, all of Sparta, GA; nieces, Tiffany Robertson of Warner Robbins, GA, and Michelle (Joey) Hartka of Brewerton, NY; great-nephew, Joseph Hartka of Bewerton, NY; aunt, Shirley Busching of Perry, GA; uncle, Jerry Bryant (John) of Macon, GA and a host of family and friends from Georgia. His Baytown family, whom he always referred to as his sisters-in-law and brothers-in law, Debra (Robert) O'Connor, Dora (Steven) Frie, Diane Ortez all of Baytown, Dolores (Harris) Wood, Robert Tevay, all of Katy, Linda (David) Ortiz, of Highlands; niece, Ashley Landry, of Baytown, and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Shetty and his team at HMH J.C. Walter Jr. Transplant Center of Houston, Aspire Healthcare, and Fresenius Kidney Care Baytown Dialysis for their care.
