Born September 24, 1924 in Gueydan, Louisiana, she lived in Highlands, Texas for a time before settling in Baytown with her late husband, Ivan L. Burns.
Trixie was preceded in death by her son, Gary L. Burns.
Survivors include her daughter, Gloria Perkins; and her grandchildren, James Cowhig, Carly Jones and Gabriel Burns.
Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Earthman Funeral Home in Baytown with a visitation beginning at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
