

Twillia Jean Baker, 72, of Baytown was born August 13, 1937 in Baytown and went to be with her Lord Sunday, August 1, 2010 surrounded by her loving family. She was a loving and devoted Christian who touched the lives of many people. She was an avid sports fan and enjoyed gardening, traveling, and the outdoors. Twillia was an amazing woman who found much pride and great joy in attending her children and grandchildren's many events throughout her life. She had a special gift of seeing the good in everyone and everything she did. Her loving spirit will live forever in many who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cynthia Lynn Baker; husband, Charles Roy Baker; parents, Albert and Gladys Rombs; and brothers, Robert, Albert, Johnny, and Jack Rombs. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Gladys and Matt Pace of Katy; sons and daughters-in-law, Charles Roy Baker, Jr. of Baytown, Andy Keith and Mary Baker of Crosby, Jack Steven and Kim Baker of Baytown, Kimber Ross and Laura Baker of Crosby, and David Anthony and Carol Baker of Baytown; stepson, David Evans of Texas City; stepdaughter, Lisa Boudreaux of Morgan City, LA; sister, Margaret Collier of Baytown; 14 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; her dog, Abbie; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Wednesday, August 4, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Graveside services will be Saturday, August 7, 2010 at the Concan Cemetery in Concan, TX.

Her family would like to thank the nurses and staff of San Jacinto Methodist Hospital on 2 East and Faith Community Hospice for the loving care given to their mother.
