Tyler Jay Patrick

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Tyler Jay Patrick, age 17, of Crosby, Texas, on November 1, 2025. Tyler was born on December 31, 2007, in Baytown, Texas, to Joshua Patrick and Presella Thompson who loved him dearly and was also lovingly raised by Sydnie and Cory Schick and Brandi and Johnathan Woodson.

Tyler had a smile that could light up any room and a laugh that was the most contagious thing you’d ever hear. He loved the outdoors, taking walks just to clear his mind, listening to rap music with the windows down, and spending time at the beach - his favorite place to find peace.

More than anything, Tyler loved his family. He was a son, nephew, grandson, cousin, proud dad, a loyal boyfriend, and a friend to so many. His greatest joy in life was his baby boy, Theo, who brought out the very best in him. Tyler loved being a father, it was what made him happiest and most proud.

He is survived by his parents, Presella and Joshua, Sydnie and Cory, Brandi and Johnathan Woodson; his son, Theo; his longtime girlfriend, Aubree Woodson; and his siblings, Elizabeth Patrick, Aaron Thompson, Ella Woodson, Logan Rains, Reyna Schick, Kyndall Schick, Samantha Bergeron, Christian Spears, Justin Spears, Preston Spears and Ashton Spears. He also leaves many grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and the Braden family, who held a special place in his heart.

Tyler will be remembered for his laughter, his kindness, and the way his presence could brighten even the darkest days. His time here was short, but the love he shared will live on forever.

Visitation will be held Saturday, 11/8/2025 at 10:00 am at Earthman Baytown Funeral Home 3919 Garth Rd. Baytown, TX 77521 with the Chapel Service starting at 12:00pm.
