Urial Theophilus "Lassie" Jones

Urial T. Jones (Lassie), 87, of Baytown, TX, departed this life on Tuesday, October 14, 2014. Originally from St. John’s Antiqua British West Indies, he met and married Ann Louisa Edwards, and to this union two children were born. In the late 70’s they moved to Baytown, TX, where he was employed with Exxon Refinery. He was a carpenter by trade and loved to work with his hands.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, parents, two brothers, and two sisters.

He leaves to cherish his memory his two children, Sylvester Jones (Lynn) of Port Arthur, TX and Wendy Charles (John) of Baytown, TX; one granddaughter, Breonna St. Romain of Baytown, TX; sister, Mabel Reynolds; and a host of nieces and nephews. A special thanks to the staff of Baytown Rehabilitation Healthcare Center for the care you gave our loved one during his stay at the facility.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2014 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., with Rosary at 7:00 P.M., at Earthman Funeral Home, 3919 Garth Road, Baytown, TX.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, October 24, 2014 at 10:00 A.M., at Holy Family Catholic Church, 7122 Whiting Rock Road, Baytown, TX.

Interment will follow at Earthman Memory Gardens Cemetery, 8624 Garth Rd., Baytown, TX.
