Verna L. Thornton, 91, of Baytown, Texas, passed away November 29, 2020. She was born in Jasper, Texas on October 14, 1929 to Fred and Janice Jeter. She was married to Salvadolph “Doss” Thornton for 42 years.
Verna worked for United and Continental Airlines Catering Services.She loved and enjoyed visiting the casinos and playing the slots.
Verna was preceded in death by her mother Janice, father Fred, and husband “Doss”. She is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
