Von E. Young

Von was born December 21, 1955 to Carl Cox Sr and Annie Gray Young. Von was the third generation owner of Young Plumbing and Heating. Following in the footsteps of his grandfather, father and uncle, Von became sole owner and operator of Young Plumbing since 2000.

Von was an avid outdoorsman. He loved the water, surfing and fishing. Along with his love of the outdoors he loved his wife Dawn of 41 years and family, he would go above and beyond for anyone.

Von is survived by his wife, Dawn "Hootie" Young, Brothers, Carl Young Jr. & wife Chris, Dwight Young & wife Charlotte, mother-in-law Ginny Kurbad, brother-in-law Tony Kurbad, sister-in-law Heidi Kurbad & daughter Taylor "Wobble Head" Kurbad-Veal. Along with numerous other nieces and nephews.

Von is preceded in death by his parents Carl Cox and Annie Gray Young.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 10, 2024, 10:00 am at Navarre Funeral Home located at 2444 Rollingbrook Dr., Baytown, TX 77521.
