

Big Daddy was born May 10, 1927 in El Dorado, Arkansas and grew up in the area. He moved to Mont Belvieu in 1972 and retired from Mobay Chemical (Bayer) in 1985. He was an active member of the Mont Belvieu community as owner of Big Daddy Pawn for many years and was an avid supporter of Barbers Hill High School athletics. Big Daddy loved visiting and laughing with his many friends. He was a member of Old River Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jewel and William McWilliams; wife Bobbie McWilliams and brother Charles McWilliams. He is survived by his sons, Jerry McWilliams and wife, Carol, Joey McWilliams and wife, Sheri and Johnny McWilliams and wife, Tammy; grandchildren, Marla Havel and husband, Kenneth, Clay, Haley, Dustin, Aubrey and McKenzie McWilliams and numerous other family and friends.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, June 3, 2015 from 5:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. with a memorial service to follow at 6:00 p.m. at Navarre Funeral Home. Burial will take place on Friday June 5, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Arlington Cemetery in El Dorado, AR.
