

W. D. “Jack” Campbell, 103, of Fischer, TX, formerly Baytown was born March 13, 1903 in Kirbyville and passed away Saturday, June 3, 2006 in a New Braunfels hospital. He was retired from Exxon and was a member of the Exxon Annuitants and 1st Baptist Church. He was a member of the Goose Creek Masonic Lodge #1192, Baytown Shrine Club, Arabia Temple, and 32nd Degree Scottish Rite.
His family will receive friends Friday, June 9, 2006 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services with Masonic rites will be Saturday, June 10, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Ingram officiating. Burial will follow at 4:00 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Park in Crockett.
He was preceded in death by his wife Inez Campbell and son Elmer Richard Campbell and is survived by grandchildren, Ricky and Carmen Campbell, Alan Campbell, Christina Fortner, Eric and Jessica Campbell, and Elisabeth and Craig Keng; great grandchildren, Juan & Willie Campbell, Alison Fortner, Codi Keng, and Emerson Campbell; niece, Patricia Dodds, whom he lived with for the last 6 ½ years; and several other nieces and nephews.
