She worked for Goose Creek ISD as an Administrative Secretary for 13 years and a loving and devoted wife and mother of three children. She was a member of Memorial Baptist Church, and loved and enjoyed arts & crafts, designing floral arrangements, and collecting antique glass ware.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Utah Tom and Jerry Ola Gradick; and by two brothers, Edward “Bill” Earl Gradick and Benjamin “Ben” Gradick.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 63 years, Herbert Franklin Ely; by one daughter, Stephanie Ely Jones and husband Eddie, of Galveston, TX; two sons, Randall Ely and Amy Dossat, of Pearland, TX and Bryan Ely and wife Rhonda, of Jones, OK; eight grandchildren, Derek, Connor, Griffin, Damon, Anderson, Phoebe, Bailey, and Taylor.
