

He was born in Baytown, Texas on October 20, 1933 to Joseph Richard and Erna Bertha Sauer Barrow. He lived his entire life in Highlands with the exception of 4 years while in the US Air Force special services from 1953 to 1956 in Misawa, Japan. He graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 1952.
Willie loved country music, and was a devout Hank Williams Sr. fan. He enjoyed being with his family, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was affectionately known as “DA.” He was a devouted volunteer for the Highlands Little League.
Willie was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Ruth; brother Jack; sisters Lillian Searcy and Joyce Tyler.
He is survived by his daughters, Katrinka Mothersbaugh and husband Brent, Kim Barrow, Kristi Davis and husband Bruce; his son Bill Barrow; his grandchildren, Brittany Mothersbaugh Hall and husband Josh, Jessica Mothersbaugh Lively and husband Mark, Dr. Lukas Chachere and wife Makenna, Elizabeth Chachere, Rebecca Chachere Garvin and husband Tyler, Abby Davis Adams and husband Weston, Sarah Barrow, and Jospeh Barrow; stepchild Bruce Davis Jr. and fiance Kelly; great grandchildren Beckett Hall, Marshall Garvin, Lyla and William Adams; step great grandchild Nolan Davis; and niece Linda (DeDe) Barrow Johnson.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, August 7, 2021 at 1:00PM at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Earthman Baytown Funeral Home, 3919 Garth Rd., Baytown, Texas 77521.
