

William “Bill” Harold Taylor, 88, of Mont Belvieu, Texas, passed away, on Thursday, July 23, 2026 in Baytown. He was born in Saratoga, Texas, on June 21, 1938, to the late Willie and Dorothy Taylor. He proudly graduated from Saratoga High School, class of 1955. In 1958, William married the love of his life, a young lady named Lynda Collins. They spent the next sixty-eight years hand in hand building a beautiful life together.
William pursued many interests, some of which included his passion for fishing, hunting and reading. He enjoyed the outdoors and could often be found out in his garden tending to his vegetables. He always looked for opportunities to share what he had grown with his family and friends. William found pleasure in the simple things in life and loved being at home. He had a sharp wit and a dry sense of humor and was remembered by all that met him.
William was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother James Taylor. He leaves behind to cherish his loving memory his beloved wife Lynda; his son Russell Taylor and wife Whitney; his daughter Tammy Adams and husband David; his grandchildren Corey Taylor and wife Chelsea, Chad Taylor and wife Nekayah, Jake Adams and wife Alexis, and Sara Adams; his great-grandchildren Tucker, Teagan, Tinley, Brodie, Audrie, Rafe, Chance, Devyn, and Parker; and his sister Mary Francis Triplett and husband Warner and his sister in law Debbie Taylor; along with a host of other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held at Earthman Baytown Funeral Home, 3919 Garth Road, Baytown, Texas 77521, on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. A funeral will follow at Earthman Baytown Funeral Home, on Wednesday, July 29 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. Graveside services will take place at Earthman Memory Gardens, 8624 Garth Road, Baytown, Texas 77521, on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, from 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm.
