

She was born February 10, 1930 in Livingston to her late parents, Ed and Hilma Collins, graduated from French High School in Beaumont, and married Warren Pursch in 1947. Wilma enjoyed traveling around the country with her husband, entertaining, dancing, and playing Bridge. She and her family moved to Dayton in 1971, and was a founding member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Liberty. She moved to College Station in 2004 to be closer to her daughter and nieces and nephews. Recently, her greatest joy has been being entertained by her great nephew, Jacob Paterson, and her great niece, Sophie Willis.
Mrs. Pursch was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Warren Pursch and her brother, Dick Collins.
Survivors include: daughter, Dianne Pursch of Cedar Park/College Station; sister, Edith Sanford of Columbus; brother, Donald Collins of Batson; sister in law, Connie Pursch Rokowitz of Poteet and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Friday, April 25, 2008 at the Navarre Funeral Home in Baytown.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 26, 2008 at the Palms Memorial Park in Dayton.
Pallbearers will be Robert Willis, Robert Pursch, Troy Collins, Kenneth Collins, James Beard, Rob Willis, James Burge, and George Paterson. Serving as Honorary Pallbearer will be Lloyd Bouton
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Wilma and Warren Pursch Scholarship Fund at Dayton High School - Attention: Tammy Pierce.
The family would like to thank the staff of Round Rock Medical Center, Texas NeuroRehab, and Pastor Peggy Adams of Palm Valley Lutheran Church of Round Rock for their continuous mental, physical, and spiritual support.
