Wylda Marcella Moore

Wylda Marcella Moore, 94, joined her Savior in Heaven on Wednesday, May 4, 2016. She was born in Downey, Calif on January 19, 1922 to Charles & Rubye Shrode. Survived by her husband of 72 yrs., Allus Moore, along with their children; Ronald Moore and wife, Laurie, of Huntington Beach, Calif., DeeDee Fussell of Pasadena, TX, Darilyn Hart and husband, Michael of Elkmont, Al., and Danielle Hedger of Baytown, TX., as well as 11 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Bobby Shrode and wife, Gertie of Lake Isabella, Calif. Marcie is preceded in death by both of her parents, sister, Nelda Bartell, and brother, Elton Shrode, and her beloved son William Wayne Moore who passed away just three days before her. She was a resident of Baytown for more than 20 yrs. and a longtime member of Maranatha Church where she enjoyed the GEMS & Golden Glow Seniors Groups. She was also a skilled seamstress and talented pianist. She was adored by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held at Navarre Funeral Home at 2444 Rollingbrook Dr., Baytown, TX on Monday, May 9, 2016 from 5pm-7pm. Funeral Services will be held at Navarre Chapel at Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at 10 am.

A private family burial will be held at Houston National Cemetery on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at 2:15pm.
