Alice was born December 9, 1938 in Leesville, Louisiana.
She is preceded in death by her father, Audie Hunt and mother Evie Hunt Stephens; husband, Dwain Markham; sons-in-law, Sput Johnson and Randall Evans; grand-son, Andrew Markham and great-grand-son, Hunter Markham; brother, AJ Hunt. She is survived by her children and their spouses; Tommy Markham and wife Rosie, Deryal Markham, Deborah “Cookie” Rice and husband Brandon, Brenda Evans, Dwain “Zeke” Markham and wife Dee; grandchildren, Tisha Johnson Barnard, William Johnson, Shelby Johnson, Jacob Rice, Bo Rice, Kellie Hardy, Tanner Markham, Tyler Markham, McKenzie Markham, Michael Markham, Timmy Markham, Jermey Markham, Cody Evans, Danielle Evans; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and other relatives.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday, June 29, 2012, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. with services beginning at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Internment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
