

Annie Bell Satterwhite Rogers peacefully reached her final destination to reside with her precious Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 19, 2011 lovingly surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Leon Rogers, her parents, J.L. and Stella Satterwhite; her two brothers, Albert Satterwhite and Johnnie Satterwhite; three sisters, Delma Jordan, Ethel Stott, and Jewel Powell. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Pat and Milton Lane of Sour Lake; son and daughter-in-law, Don and Dorothy Rogers of Beaumont; 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Annie Bell was born June 27, 1918 in Longview, Texas. She married Leon Rogers on March 10, 1934 in Bon Weir, Texas. She was a resident of Beaumont for approximately 65 years. Annie Bell was a loving, caring, and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother. The most important priorities in her life were her Lord, her church and her beloved family. Annie Bell was a member of Freeway Baptist Church in Beaumont since 1963.
Family will receive guests for a time of visitation on Monday, November 21, 2011 from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Forest Lawn with the Reverend Peter Hutchison officiating. Pallbearers are Corky Lane, Charles Breithaupt, Tom Robbins, Darrell Rogers, David Rogers, and Ross Rogers. Honorary pallbearers are Milton Lane and Bob Scott. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park following the service.
