Mr. Arcen Cormier, age 78, died Wednesday, April 17, 2013 in Beaumont, Texas. Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Pastor Rick Koonce officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 9:00 PM on Friday, April 19, 2013 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
Mr. Cormier was born in Port Arthur, Texas on November 24, 1934. He served in the United States Army. He was a member of the Calvery Baptist Church. Mr. Cormier retired from Terminix and was a certified Applicator for the State of Texas. He was a member of the South East Texas Pest Control Association. He enjoyed putting together intricate puzzles in his spare time.
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Pearl M. Cormier. His parents, Joseph and Blanche Cormier.
Survivors include his wife Scherrie Cormier. Three step-sons, Andrew Kennedy, Mark Hartzog and LW Hartzog. Two step-daughters, Brenda Abshire and Dodie LeBlanc. Numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
