I was blessed to have worked with Aretha at West Brook High - 9th grade campus. I loved her humor, wit, and sense of humor. She was a great teacher and friend. I was able to visit and reconnect with her at DARS when she worked with Ms Osborn. One day I heard her voice and laughter and knew it was her immediately. Prayers for her daughter who she spoke fondly of during our teaching years.

Leslie, I am so sad to hear of the passing of your mother. We had so many good times & shared many laughs together. I always enjoyed her cards she sent upon every occasion. I'm sorry I learned the sad news so late. And I have just noticed that our mothers had the same birthday (different years). Take care & hope to see you soon. Judy Melling
