Noonie was a world traveler and she treasured the numerous trips she took with her family and friends.
Noonie's greatest treasure was her family. When her daughter and grandchildren attended summer camp and college Noonie enjoyed sending them special baked goodies. Her family looked forward to celebrating their birthdays with her famous Chocolate Ice Box Cake, a tradition that began with her mother. She is survived by her daughter, Jimmie Jay Jackson, of Beaumont and granddaughter Amy Jay Jackson Beaumont and her grandson Bruce Maxwell Jackson (Katrina) of League City. She is also survived by her two great grandchildren Matilda and Matthew Jackson and her nephew Michael Schornstein (Ronnie) of Dallas. She was predeceased by her parents, brother, Moise Schornstein, and her son-in-law Bruce Weaver Jackson.
The family would like to thank Alice Jenkins at Loving Care Personal Care Home for the three months of love and attention she gave to Noonie, The Reverend Lynn Fontenot and Riceland Hospice.
A private graveside service was held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park's Halls of Serenity Mausoleum on December 7, 2019.
Throughout Noonie's lifetime she had a special place in her heart for numerous dogs and cats, especially Amy's Corgi's.
