Benjamin Bruce Hansen, born on December 5, 1958, in Beaumont, TX, peacefully departed this world on December 7, 2023. Born to Harry and Barbara Hansen, who preceded him in death, Benjamin leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter.
He is survived by his devoted brothers, Henry Hansen and wife JoAnn of Beaumont, TX, and Michael Hansen and wife Carol of Lumberton, TX. Benjamin is also fondly remembered by his sisters, Terry Webster and husband Danny of Seguin, TX, and Cheryl Gordon of Seguine, TX.
A cherished uncle, Benjamin will be missed by his nephews, Drew Gordon, Travis Hansen and wife Beth, Wes Hansen, Eric Webster and wife Jennifer, and Chris Woodward and wife Jessica. His nieces, Callie Gordon, Amanda Hansen and John Deets, and Christine Rosa and husband Mike, hold dear memories of their beloved uncle.
Benjamin's heart held a special place for animals and cookies. Known for his infectious sense of humor, he was a master of jokes, bringing laughter to everyone around him. Despite life's challenges, Benjamin faced them with resilience and never uttered a word of complaint.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 4955 Pine Street, Beaumont, TX 77703, on December 12, 2023, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. A heartfelt Funeral Service will follow immediately after at 2:00 pm. Benjamin will be laid to rest in Forest Lawn Memorial Park on the same day, surrounded by the beauty he appreciated in life.
