Betty Jean Craven, 84, of Humble, died Friday, May 1, 2026 at her residence. A native of Beaumont, she has lived in Humble since 1978, and was a retired teacher and counselor with Crosby ISD. Betty was a faithful member of Atascocita United Methodist Church. Betty was a musician, and also enjoyed crafting, cocheting, cross stitch, and spending time with her family.
A Celebration graveside service will be held at Houston National Cemetery in Houston on Monday, May 11, 2026 at 9:30 a.m.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents William and Bennie Mae Teague, and her sister Marion Leslie.
Betty is survived by her loving husband Truett Andrew Craven of Humble, daughters Alison Roberts and her husband Michael of Howe, Texas and Dina Havranek and her husband Shawn of Humble, and by one granddaughter Tatyana Havranek of Humble.
Betty will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
