Betty Jo Sorrell went home to be with the Lord on January 24, 2026. A devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister in Christ, she leaves behind a lasting legacy of love, kindness, and grace.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Yvonne Duke, and her beloved husband, Paul Sorrell.
Betty Jo's life centered around her family , including her daughter, Trudy Peveto (husband Mike), and her son, P. Terry Sorrell (wife Betsy). She cherished her grandchildren, Lindsey, Bradley, and Alyssa Sorrell; and her great-grandchildren, Hudson Paul Sorrell and Collin Sorrell.
She was a faithful member of the Meadows Church of Christ and walked in steadfast Christian faith for more than 60 years.
