Billie Joyce Adams

Billie Joyce Adams, 94, of Port Arthur, died Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at her residence. A native of Silsbee, she was a longtime resident of Beaumont before moving to Port Arthur 5 years ago. Billie was a retired lab tech with TSO. Billie enjoyed reading, cooking, flowers, and working word puzzles.

A Celebration of Billie's Life will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 4, 2024 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont.

A Gathering of Friends and Family will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 4, 2024 at the funeral home.

Billie was preceded in death by her husband Henry Fletcher Adams, son Ova Ray Adams, daughter Barbara Ann Jenkins, sisters Virgie Burke, and Jackie LaBrie, and her parents Ova and Rea Carr.

Billie is survived by her son Jack F. Adams and his wife Danell of Hamshire, TX., daughters Wanda Joyce Wright and her husband Duck of Seadrift, TX., and Henrietta Carrano and her husband John of Niceville, FL., and by her 16 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Billie will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
