She worked as a nurses aid, and was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of the Victory Temple Church in Beaumont.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, TO Hinton of Beaumont, four sons, Kenneth Hinton and wife Loretta of Beaumont, Billy Joe Hinton and wife Tressa of Lumberton, Dwayne Hinton of Beaumont, Tony Hinton and wife Dianna of Nederland, two daughters, Nelda Lowry of Beaumont, Brenda Raggio and husband David of Pearland, one sister Mary Williams of Centerville, twelve grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, she is also survived by many other friends and relatives.
She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother, two sisters, one grandchild and one great-grandchild.
A gathering of family and friends will begin Saturday March 31, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with Funeral Services to follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Beaumont.
