Bryan McKnight

Bryan McKnight, 46, of Lumberton passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2011, at his residence. Bryan was born September 15, 1965, in Beaumont, Texas to Wilburn and Joyce McKnight and has lived in Lumberton for the past 37 years. He was a member of The Anchor Church in Beaumont, employed by Jerry Walley Construction, active in 4-H, and was a former volunteer Lumberton Fireman, baseball coach and member of FFA.

He is preceded in death by his father, Wilburn McKnight and sister, Linda Drescher.

Bryan is survived by his wife, Denise White McKnight of Lumberton; son, Weston Bryan McKnight of Lumberton; mother, Joyce McKnight of Lumberton; sisters, Melissa Littlepage of Lumberton and Melanie “Dee Dee” Sims of Lumberton; nieces, Kristie Drescher, Vanessa Downey, Lauren Downey and Ashley Sims all of Lumberton.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, October 17, 2011, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m., at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2011, at 10 a.m., at Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Rev. Johnathan Green officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
