I was not the best student in the class of 1954 and I am told that I sometimes caused a little stir in Mr. Dillon's classroom. Whatever, I admired him in many ways. Even when he would not let me go to get a drink of water during football practice.

I am very glad that I got to know him.

Coach Dillon was my geometry teacher at Forest Park. His classes were always fun and interesting.he was one of my favorite teachers. Several years later after I set up my dental practice he became my patient for the next thirty plus years. We had such good conversations and I was honored to be able to serve him. I will miss him very much as will all of my office staff. He always kept them entertained. See you again one day Coach.

I was in Mr. Dillon's Plane Geometry class in the tenth grade at South Park High School many years ago. What a long life he enjoyed! Now he is yet another member of the "Greatest Generation" gone, and we mourn his loss. Thank you, Mr. Dillon, for your service to our nation.
