Carlton LeRoy Burnett, 95, of Beaumont, passed away Saturday, December 24, 2016. He was born November 25, 1921 in Cameron, Texas. Carlton is preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Audrey Burnett; his beloved wife, Shirley Jean Burnett; his son, C.L. Burnett and by a step-son, Bruce Ellerbee. He is survived by his; daughter, Kandie Carter and husband Jeff; step-son, Deral Ellerbee and wife Janet; Don Burnett and wife Ellen; daughter, Karen Burnett, step-son; Herbert Ellerbee; 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Numerous other relatives and a host of friends also survive. Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 27, 2016 from 6pm to 8pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held December 28, 2016 at 2pm in the Chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home with burial following in Forest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
