Carol Raynes

Carol Kay Raynes, 80, of Livingston, died Monday, October 6, 2025 at her residence. A native of Beaumont, she was a longtime resident of Beaumont before moving to Livingston 3 months ago. Carol enjoyed cooking, reading, and being grandmother and great grandmother. Carol was a retired respiratory therapist from UTMB in Galveston.

Cremation arrangements were entrusted with Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Beaumont.

A Celebration Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at 7075 Hurley Dr., Beaumont, Texas 77708.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Hazel Morgan, Sr., brothers, Bubba Morgan, Bobby Gerald Morgan, and Kenneth Ray Morgan, and her grandson, Jeremiah Ray Ballard.

Carol is survived by her son D. Allen Ray of FL., daughters, Terry Ballard and husband Bruce of Livingston, and Sara Raynes of Vidor, brother, Tom Morgan, Jr., of Beaumont, sisters, Joy Gay McHaney of Beaumont, and Sandra Parsons of Lumberton, grandchildren, Randy Burden, Joshua Ballard, Hannah Martin, Caleb Martin, and Abigail Martinka. Carol is also survived by her great grandchildren, Parker Ray Ballard, Kaitlin Burden, Olive Burden, Liam Burden, Nora Burden, Kaylie Rideaux, Kingston Hickman, Tyrese Hickman, Jr., and Jerney Ballard.

Carol will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
