Carolyn was born in Mammoth, West Virginia. She moved to Nederland, Texas, where she began working as a welder at Bethlehem Steel. She later became a mail carrier for USPS and eventually retired from there. She loved working on vehicles, mowing the lawn, and doing work around the yard. She enjoyed making and drinking her morning cup of coffee. She was famous for her pecan pies that she would bring for every holiday party. She would make 2 for every holiday, one for Shane, and one for everyone else. She loved her sister, Sharon, and they were the best of friends. She was funny and a smart aleck, and called everyone sweethearts and sweeties.
Carolyn is survived by her niece Tina Jiminez; nephew Floyd Jiminez Jr.; nephew Shane Jiminez and wife Lisa; and niece Brandi Sons and husband Steve. Carolyn also leaves behind 13 grandnephews and grandnieces and 19 great grandnephews and grandnieces to share her memory.
