Charles Hamilton Heywood III, age 78, passed away November 16, 2012 in Conroe. He was born September 30, 1934 in Houston, to Charles and Sarita Heywood. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, graduated high school from Beaumont High in 1953 and Lamar University in 1964. He was a brilliant businessman, running a successful consulting firm for over 30 years. He was also a loving husband, father, grandfather and good friend to many.
He is preceded in death by his parents and wife of 47 years, Lorraine G Heywood.
He is survived by two daughters, Kathryn Colestock of Boca Raton, FL and Danna Lorraine Heywood of Houston, two sons, Charles H. Heywood IV of Lometa, TX, and Samuel G Heywood of Austin, he is also survived by nine grandchildren, Andrew Carter, Chad Colestock, Caroline Heywood, Kara Colestock, Chelsea Heywood, Alexandra Abu-Speitan, Emily Heywood, Charles Maximus Abu-Speitan and Christian Heywood.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 29, 2012 @ 2:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Beaumont.
