Mr. Martin is survived by his wife of 38 years, Joel Martin; son, George E. Brown III and wife Debra; daughter, Martha Pate; cousins, Britton Neilson of Nashville, TN, Janette Wilkinson of Florence, AL, Dan Rather of Atlanta, GA; 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Visitation will take place Tuesday, February 16, 2010 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 17, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in the Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel.
