Clarence J. Kunz

Clarence J. Kunz, age 86 of Beaumont, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 in Beaumont. Services will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, January 26, 2015 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Rev. Nancy DeForest officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 PM on Sunday, January 25, 2015 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.

Mr. Kunz was born in Weimar, Texas on May 13, 1928 to Fred and Hedwig Kunz. He served in the United States Air Force and he attended St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church. Clarence was a retired process operator from Mobil Chemical.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Pat Kunz and second wife Frances Noble Kunz. One brother, George Kunz.

He is survived by his son, Wallace Kunz and his wife Cathy of Beaumont, TX. Two step-daughters, Charnell Tevis and her husband Dave of Beaumont, TX and Darrell Willis and her husband David of Tyler, TX. Two sisters, Rosemary Schindler and her husband Leroy of Schulenburg, TX and Lorraine Fitzgerald of Frost, TX. One sister-in-law, Orpha Kunz of Minnesota. Six granddaughters; Christie Kunz Linscott, Amy Revia and Mickie Karsten, Chauna Tevis Jones, Lauren Tevis Lee, Megan Tevis. As well as seven great grandchildren.
