Claribel "Sue" Louise (Schnell) Kent

Claribel Louise Schnell Kent left this world on June 11, 2023 at home. Born in Philadelphia and moved to Texas in 1944. She was a charter member of Trinity United Methodist Church, sang in the choir and the Sterling Silver Singers. Memberships include leader of Camp Fire, Cub Scouts, and Girl Scouts, McFaddin Ward House, Spindletop Museum and Telephone Pioneer Family Campers and retired from ISC as office manager.

She was preceded by her husband of 70 years, Robert "Bob" Kent and daughter Gayle Stevens.

She will live in the hearts of her daughter Judy and Wayne Koehler, son Alan and Donna Kent, four grandchildren Kelley Allen and Mark, Kent Koehler and Sissy, Diane Wiggins and Jeffery, Holly Reedy and Clay. Five great-grandchildren Kameron and Brice Koehler, Hunter and Kyleigh Cain, Sutton Reedy and Knox Reedy.

Visitation will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home located at 4955 Pine Street, Beaumont, TX 77703 on Monday June 19, 2023 from 5:00pm - 7:00pm. Chapel Services will be held the following day, Tuesday June 20, 2023 at 2:00pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church's Music Department.
