Cora Roberts passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2014 in San Marcos, Texas. Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, October 17, 2014 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Brother Harold Aulds officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday, October 16, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
Cora was born in Devers, Texas to the late Vernon and Elvena Watson After her marriage to her husband R.V., they both resided in Liberty, Texas, where they started a family. She was a homemaker and loved her children.
She was preceded in death by husband, R.V. Roberts; daughter, Carol Means; Son, Lonnie Roberts; Grandson, Trae Aulds.
Survivors include son, Charles Roberts of San Marcos, Texas; daughter Brenda Aulds and husband Harold of Wimberley, Texas; daughter, Rhonda Emfinger and husband Al of Buda, Texas. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
We are not only losing a “Mom”, grandmother and great-grandmother, but also one of the most special ladies ever. She truly was a “Treasure”.
Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
