Delia Hernandez Pina passed away on July 22nd, 2026 at the age of 57. She was born on June 9th 1969 in Hobbs, New Mexico to Juan and Maria Pina. After spending many years in Hobbs, she relocated to Port Arthur, Texas and made it her home. She worked many years as a nursing assistant and transitioned into being a caretaker, homebody, mother, and grandmother. She will always be remembered for her kind spirit and generosity, willing to take the time to help anyone that she could.
She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters (Delilah H. Pina, Amelia Pina), brothers (Danny H. Pina, Arturo Pina, Jose Pina, Jesus Pina, Inez Pina), and daughter (Christina A. Figueroa).
Delia is survived by her sisters (Juanita Pina, Lupe Granados, Linda Gonzales, Elia Lopez, Maria Pina Hawk) brothers (Jose Jesus "Pickle" Pina, Juan H. "Chico" Pina), and her son (Alonso Jurado).
Cremation services will be held under the direction of Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
A memorial will be held in Hobbs, New Mexico at a later date.
