Dora was born June 13, 1925; in Jasper, Texas to the late George Bevil and Susan Walker Bevil.
She is survived by sons, David Carter and wife Kathy of Pearland; Gary Carter and wife Ofie of Baytown; Dale Carter of Baytown; daughters Judy Wing and husband Rodney of Beaumont; Suzanne Brown and husband Joe Wayne Sr. of Chester; brothers, Ben Bevil of Aurora; Uncle “T” of Georgia; 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Monday, June 4, 2012; from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 5, 2012; at 10 a.m., in the Chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home, burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
