She was a long time resident of Beaumont, Texas lived in Sour Lake since 1990 and after retiring as a nurse, she and her husband Charles Howard Huff worked together with Wardlaw Claim Service as Catastrophe Insurance Adjusters.
Doris loved celebrating holidays with family and friends, had a flare for decorating, interior design, sewing was her passion and enjoyed sewing family clothing throughout her lifetime.
Cremation arrangements were entrusted with Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Beaumont.
A Celebration Visitation of Doris's Life will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 18th, 2025 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Beaumont.
Doris was preceded in death by her loving husband Howard Huff, and by parents Otis and Margarette Richardson Westmoreland, and sister Sherry Ann Reynolds, brother Glenn Allen Westmoreland.
Doris is survived by her son Clint Howard Huff and his wife Amber Sue of Austin, daughter Kimberly Huff Butler of Beaumont, brother, Marion Keith Westmoreland and his wife Marie of Vidor, grandchildren, Kyle Cardell Deleon of Beaumont, Ashton Faith Huff, Cameron Gracie Huff, and Cole Houston Huff all of Austin, niece Lisa Jaeger and her husband Brad of Phoenix, AZ., Laurie and Jay Hurley of Vidor, and many other nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give a sincere thanks to lifelong friends James McMillian and family, Wes and Quida Broussard, Rose Matthews, and family friends, Arlene and Barbara, and numerous family and friends that visited with her during her last days.
She adored all of her grandchildren, she was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and a friend to all that knew her. Doris will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
