She was born on June 3, 1928 in Port Arthur, TX. to Richard and Alida Beckham.
Doris was a loving mother, grandma and aunt.
She was preceded in death by her parents Richard Ellis Beckham and Alida Bernadette Beckham, sister Louise Burleigh, brother Richard ( Dickey ) Beckham, Jr. and daughter Cathy Jones.
Surviving Doris is her daughter Darlene Dyer and husband David of Sante Fe, TX., granddaughters Alesha McQuerry and husband Billy of Mauriceville,TX., Salina Eaves and husband Aubrey of Vidor, TX., a grandson Nathan Dyer of Cypress, TX. Doris also had four great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff at Harbor Hospice for the loving care provided to our loved one and us during her final days here on earth.
