Dorothy Jean Martin

Dorothy Jean Martin, 87, of Beaumont, died Saturday, April 26, 2025 at Oak Ridge Assisted Living in Beaumont. A native of Monticello, MS., she has lived in Beaumont for 67 years and was a homemaker. Dorothy was a faithful and active member of Southside Assembly of God. Dorothy enjoyed painting, crocheting, cooking, woodworking, she had a green thumb and enjoyed gardening. Dorothy especially enjoyed being with her family.

A Celebration of Dorothy's Life will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Beaumont, with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 10:00 a.m. till service time on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her loving husband Charles Edward Martin, parents Scott and Mattie Sauls, and by her 8 siblings.

Dorothy is survived by her 4 daughters Linda Courville and her husband Jimmy of Beaumont, Rene' Westbrook and her husband Phillip of Spring, Robin Perez and her husband Tommy of Kountze, and Tuesday Lord and her husband Mike of Beaumont, nine grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren.

Dorothy will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
