Dorothy Virginia Stewart

Dorothy Virginia Stewart, age 89, died Tuesday, July 09, 2013 in Beaumont, TX. Services will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, July 12, 2013 at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Beaumont, TX. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Thursday, July 11, 2013 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.

Mrs. Stewart was born in Pierce, TX on September 24, 1923. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and was a homemaker. She was also a member of S.C.A.T.

Mrs. Stewart was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Elra Z. Stewart. Two brothers, Jimmy and Archie Bennetsen and one sister, Orlee Schultze.

Survivors include a son, Douglas Ray Stewart and his wife Diane of Houston, TX. Three daughters, Laurine Stewart Messina and her husband Michael of Beaumont, TX, Darlene Stewart Smithers and her husband Harold of Silsbee, TX and Ginger Stewart Luman and her husband Tommy of Silsbee, TX. A brother, Leroy Bennetsen and his wife Carolyn of LaGrange, TX. Two sisters, Lucille Kohn of Ft. Worth, TX and Ruby Skarla of Angleton, TX. One sister-in-law, Juanita Bennetsen of Katy, TX. Five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to ones favorite charity.
