Doug graduated from Nederland High School in 1988 and then joined Pipe Fitters Local 195 and spent several years working for EPS. He was currently working at Nance International in Beaumont. Doug loved bow hunting and was an avid fisherman. He had a passion for restoring vehicles and could fix anything mechanical (he was often called by friends and family to help them make repairs - and he always went). Doug was a family man that truly loved his family and enjoyed playing with his grandkids.
Doug is survived by; daughter Brittany Stanton of Vidor; significant other Jennifer Perkins and her children Taylor and Lauren Lee; father Arthur Lee Stanton and wife Connie and mother Sharon Duncan; brothers, Robbie Frank and his wife Kathy of Missouri City, Greg Frank of San Leon, Texas, Travis Stanton his wife Amanda; sister, Angela Leger and her husband Derrick; grandchildren, Holdenn, Kamden and Jaxon. Godchild, Courtney Stacey; nieces and nephews, Laci Frank, Jack Frank, Emily Frank, Dagan Leger, Kadden Leger, Gabrielle Leger, and Madilyn Stanton.
A gathering of friends and family for Douglas will be held Saturday, October 19, 2019 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A celebration of Douglas's life will occur Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 2:00 PM. His burial to follow.
