Flossie McCauley Davis, 86, of Kountze, passed away on Monday, July 4, 2016 at her home. She was born on July 10, 1929 in Beaumont, Texas. Preceding Flossie in death were her loving husband, James L. "Stinky" Davis, Sr.; her parents Capt. Marion Oscar and Helen Pauline McCauley; sisters, Annie Mae Wilson, Maxine Williamson, Ida Mae Paskett, Thelma Dailey Brown; brothers, Bobby McCauley, Charles McCauley, L.E. Dailey, Marion H. McCauley and Gene McCauley. Survivors include son James L. Davis, Jr. and wife, Becky of Beaumont, TX; Daughter, Jerry Lynn Hall of Kountze, TX; grandchildren Shawn Hall of Lumberton, TX; Eric Hall and wife, Stephanie of Laguna Hills, CA; Michelle Hall Byrd and husband, Lee of Spring, TX; James L. Davis, III and wife, Katherine of Vidor, TX; and Tanya Davis Daigle and husband, Troy of Nederland, TX and 8 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Forest Lawn Funeral Home on Thursday, July 7, 2016 from 5 PM until 7 PM. Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM on Friday, July 8, 2016 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
