Gail Margaret Lauve, 69, of Fannett, died Monday, December 7, 2020 at her residence from complications after a long illness. Gail was born at St. Mary's hospital on June 3, 1951 and was a native of Port Acres. Gail graduated with a BS of Nursing and Education Degree. Gail was a RN with Baptist Hospital of Southeast Texas in Beaumont, and also worked per diem for several local hospitals. Gail was a active member of LaBelle Baptist Church where she enjoyed serving in missionary work traveling to Thailand, Israel, Jerusalem, and Mexico. Gail also enjoyed serving on the churches hurricane disaster relief team, teaching her Sunday school class, and cooking for the seniors' luncheons.
Gail is survived by her husband, Leonard Lauve, Sr., son, Schon Havens and his wife Stacy of Fannett, daughters, Christi LeBlanc and husband Wayne of LaBelle, Sherri Speight of Fannett, Michelle Lauve of Kountze, and Brenda Lauve of Lumberton, sisters, Sherry Horton of Broussard, LA., and Melanie Hallmark of Azle, TX., brother, Byron James "BJ" Broussard and his wife Tammy of Texarkana, TX., and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Gail was preceded in death by her son Leonard Wayne Lauve, Jr., parents, John and Theresia Broussard, Sr., brothers, Ronald "Ronnie" Broussard, Kenneth "Kenny" Broussard, John Broussard, Jr., and Gary Broussard.
Cremation arrangements were entrusted with Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Beaumont. Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at LaBelle Baptist Church in LaBelle, TX.
