Geneva J. Gigliotta

She was born on July 2, 1937 in Devers Texas to Stewart and Kathleen Clark. She graduated from Liberty High School. Geneva married her love George Gigliotta in 1967 where they then built a successful business, Bevil Oaks Grocery. She was adored by her customers and spent many years working there. Later in life she opened a daycare in her home for small children where her true calling for caring for others flourished. She had a true servants heart. Her life revolved around her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She always made time to listen and offer words of wisdom and encouragement.

She was known for her homemade meals and never let anyone go hungry. Geneva had a wonderful sense of humor and could always make those around her laugh with her quick wit and clever jokes. Her sense of humor was one of her defining traits and she will be remembered for her ability to bring joy to those around her.

Geneva is survived by Daughter Lisa Gigliotta Derouen and husband Ricky DeRouen of Beaumont Texas; Daughter Rhonda Springer and husband Jimmy of Texarkana Arkansas; Granddaughter Melissa Gigliotta Bryant and her husband Matt Bryant and their children Daniel Lohman, Jacob Lohman, Joshua Lohman, Madison Lohman, Tre Bryant, Triton Bryant, and Isabella Bryant; Granddaughter Lauren Blackburn Strahan and her husband David Strahan and their children Ava Strahan and Anslee Strahan; Grandson Michael Wayne Davis and wife Laura and their children, Michael and Megan of Genoa Arkansas; Granddaughter Christy Ann Coffman and husband Cody and their daughter Patricia Coffman of Doddridge Arkansas.

Geneva was a shining light in the lives of all who knew her.

Visitation will be held Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 4955 Pine Street, Beaumont, Texas 77703, with a Graveside Service to follow at 11:00 am at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
