George graduated from French High School in 1947. He retired from Kansas City Southern Railroad in 1995 after over 40 years of service. George was an avid Tennis player and loved fishing.
George was preceded in death by his wife, Geri Chute.
George is survived by his son, Chuck Chute and his wife Cindy of Beaumont; daughter, Brenda Setliff of Beaumont; granddaughter, Stacy Elizondo of Temple and great grandson, Brandon Carter of Temple.
