Glen “Al” Alven Perry, Jr., age 58 of Beaumont, Texas passed away on Monday, January 5, 2015 in Beaumont, Texas. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel.
Glen was born on September 15, 1956 in Bremerton, Washington to the late Glen Alven Perry, Sr. and Lois Elaine Yankee Perry. He spent part of his childhood in Norfolk, Virginia and most of his high school and adult life in southeast Missouri. He served in the United States Navy repairing A-6 bombers and teaching others to do so. After Al completed his military service he attended and graduated with a 4.0 from Southeast Missouri State University. He was a math and chemistry wizard. Al was a self employed computer technician servicing southeast Texas for the last 13 years. His hobbies included reading, playing poker, music, and most importantly he loved spending time with his family.
Survivors include his sister, Joyce E. Hathorn and her husband Jerry of Beaumont, Texas. Nieces ; Tasha, Frankie, Keri, Cori and Shelley. Six great nieces and two great nephews. Aunts and cousins in Iowa, Missouri, Texas, and Oregon.
