Gloria Locke died on February 4, 2025 at Buckner Calder Woods in Beaumont. She was born April 25, 1931 in Wichita Falls, Texas.
Gloria attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas and was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority.
Gloria was a founding member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
She was a past president of the Junior League of Beaumont, and a member of the Magnolia Garden Club.
Gloria supported many organizations in Beaumont, including the Lamar University Foundation, Gift of Life of Southeast Texas, The Art Museum of Southeast Texas, and The Symphony of Southeast Texas.
Gloria was preceded in death by Charles her husband of 73 years. She is survived by her son David Locke and his wife Eve, daughter Ann Cobb and her husband Robert, four grandchildren, Will Cobb, Katie Cobb Stelly, Blakey Locke, Carol Locke and 8 great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Gloria's caregivers, Marcela Rodriquez, Angela Rodriguez, Alicia Rodriguez, Melody Monday, and the Accentcare Hospice team.
Private family burial services will be held on Tuesday, February 11th with a memorial service at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 11th at Trinity United Methodist Church, 3430 Harrison Ave, Beaumont, Texas 77706, with a reception immediately following in the parlor.
