Henry Edward Iglesias

Mr. Henry Iglesias, age 71, of Beaumont, Texas, passed away on Monday, November 25, 2024, in Beaumont. Henry was born on April 16, 1953, in Mexico City, D.F., Mexico.

Henry loved spending time with his family and, in his younger years, enjoyed playing pool. He was passionate about cooking and was widely known for his exceptional barbecue. A man of faith, Henry was a devoted member of La Iglesia Apostolica Church in Beaumont.

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Robinson Iglesias of Kountze, Texas; his mother Socorro Vallesteros Iglesias of Beaumont; his sons, Jerry Sigler of Sparta, TN, Adrian Iglesias of Beaumont, TX, Edward Iglesias of Kountze, TX, and Eric Iglesias of Kountze, TX; his daughters, Heather Johnson and her husband Kirk of Smyrna, TN, Xochil Iglesias of Killeen, TX, Amber Linder and her husband Joe of Beaumont, TX, and Amanda Iglesias and her husband Jack Self of Beaumont, TX; and his brother, Oscar Iglesias and his wife Ellen of Wildwood, TX.

Henry was a cherished grandfather to Kristopher Howard and his wife Regan, Kristian Sigler, David Sigler, Sydney Sigler, Jacob Sigler, Haven Iglesias, Selena Johnson Pimentel and her husband Amado, Thomas Johnson, Jenny Johnson, Braxton Johnson, Arianna Iglesias, Aaron Iglesias, Nate Iglesias, Porter Iglesias, Aiden Iglesias, Bayleigh Linder, Jo Mike Linder, Jr., Alyssa Kugler and her wife Alexandra, Kaitlin Linder, Berkleigh Self, and Olivia Self. He was also a proud great-grandfather to Chase Howard, Justin Howard, Zoey Howard, Audrey Iglesias, Devyn Iglesias, Greyson Johnson, and Colton Johnson, Geneva Morton and Leylani Linder.

Henry’s life will be remembered for his love of family, his faith, and his talent for bringing people together through food and fellowship.
