Herbert Hobson Matthews Jr., age 92, of Beaumont, Texas passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2024. Herbert was born in Fort Worth, Texas to Eunice (Nunez) and Herbert Matthews.

A Gathering of Friends and Family for Herbert will be held Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at 8:00 AM in the State Room at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 4955 Pine Street, Beaumont, Texas 77703. Herbert will be laid to rest in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in the Garden of Love.
